Adrian Stanciu

Adrian Stanciu is a leading Organizational Development consultant in Romania, specializing in organizational culture management, strategy development and change. His work touched more than 50 organizations, large or small, in Romania and other countries, and many hundreds of managers and leaders. Adrian is also a partner in the affiliate offices of Human Synergistics in Romania, Hungary and Serbia. Human Synergistics International is the worldwide leading research organization in the field of organizational culture. Adrian was a founding partner of Ascendis Consulting, the largest Romanian training firm, founded in 2001, from which he exited in 2007, when Ascendis was the no.1 training company in Romania, a position it still currently holds. Also, Adrian is a founding member of the Erudio foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing creativity and expressivity in the field of leadership, and the organizer of the Erisma executive development program in Creative Leadership. Erisma has enriched the lives of more than 350 Romanian business leaders over its 8 years of uninterrupted existence. Prior to being a consultant, Adrian’s career included management positions such as CEO of Xerox Romania, Business Unit Director of Xerox CEE and General Manager of Arexim, a Romanian IT systems integrator company that he co-founded and subsequently sold to Xerox Corp. Adrian also successfully started, together with different partners, and subsequently sold several other businesses, such as Kiwi Finance, a financial services brokerage or Arexim Line, a TV distribution network. In the management development field, Adrian has developed and delivered numerous Executive Training programs to customers of various sizes and of various industries, such as IBM, Xerox, Orange, Raiffesen Bank, Citibank, Allianz, and many local entrepreneurial companies as well as coaching top executives from various industries. In the academic field, Adrian holds an MSc in the Bucharest Technical University in 1985. He is a passionate teacher and has taught various subjects in graduate business programs in the Bucharest Technical University, the National School of Political Studies, the Academy of Economic Studies as well as the Change Management course in the University of Ottawa and the Canadian-Romanian MBA. More recently, Adrian taught Organizational Development, Leadership and Change Management for Central-European University Business School in Bucharest. Since 2010, Adrian is a founding partner of the Maastricht School of Management Romania, where he also teaches Managing Cultural Diversity and Leadership and Change.
